Where can you rent a meeting room in Hamburg?
Universal Rooms is a room rental business at Mühlenkamp 6c in Hamburg Winterhude, a short walk from the Outer Alster lake. Four bright loft rooms and a 150 sqm lobby add up to 242 sqm, suitable for 2 to 70 people.
Rooms are booked as a whole, not per person. There is no daily package, no minimum spend and no weekend surcharge. The smallest booking block is 2.5 hours starting at 130 EUR. Drinks, snacks, WiFi, projector, flipchart and whiteboard are included, and rearranging the seating costs nothing extra.

Which rooms are available?
Four rooms named Mukamee 1 to 4, plus a lobby that works as a break area or as the main space for larger events. All rooms are closed individual rooms with daylight, not glass boxes in an open plan office.

How much does a meeting room in Hamburg cost?
Prices are per room, not per person. All prices exclude VAT and include drinks, snacks, WiFi and equipment.

Half day means 9:00 to 14:00 or 14:00 to 18:00, full day means 9:00 to 18:00. Booking is possible seven days a week without a weekend surcharge. Regular bookings receive a discount: 5 percent from 3 booking days per year, 10 percent from 5 days, 15 percent from 10 days. From 15 days per year we offer a framework agreement. For multi day events, day two is 10 percent off and day three onwards 15 percent. Associations, educational institutions and non profit organisations receive special rates on request.
How many people fit into each room?
Capacity depends on the seating layout, not only on floor space. Theatre style needs 0.8 to 1.2 sqm per person, a U shape needs 2.5 to 3.0 sqm. That is a factor of four, which is why most published capacity figures assume theatre style.

What is included in the price?
Projector or display, whiteboard, flipchart, moderation kit and fast WiFi are included in every booking. So are drinks, snacks and coffee from the Hamburg roastery Elbgold. A pantry kitchen with a fridge is available.
Catering can be booked through our partners, or you bring your own caterer. There is no corkage fee and no minimum spend, which is unusual compared to conference hotels in Hamburg.
Guests are welcomed in person. There is no anonymous self check in, and the lobby serves as a quiet waiting area, which matters for interviews and confidential meetings.
